Freya, the owner of the most powerful Familia in the city of Orario, decides to take advantage of the Goddess Festival and carry out her plans. After she abducts elite adventurer Bell Cranel, Freya unlawfully uses her goddess powers to alter the memory of everyone in Orario—be they humans or gods—to make them believe that Bell has always been a member of her Familia and her official lover.

Confused and depressed, Bell cannot accept that everything that he has lived through has been merely reduced to a dream and that his dearest goddess Hestia and his dear friends have all forgotten about him. As a result, he keeps rejecting Freya's love.

Fortunately, Hestia only pretends to have fallen under Freya's influence. Together with a band of adventurers who escaped Orario in time, she plans to rescue Bell and expose Freya's crimes. Nevertheless, Hestia's schemes ultimately depend on Bell's ability to break free from Freya's spell, and Bell will have to search his heart to find out where his loyalty truly lies—or lose everyone he holds dear.

The series adapts the volumes 16, 17 and 18 of the light novel of Fujino Omori's series of the same title.
