We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

• Public profile data: Your username, avatar, bio, and anime/manga lists are visible to other users based on your privacy settings
• Service providers: We work with third-party services for hosting, image storage, email delivery and payment processing. They process data on our behalf and only as needed to provide those services. We do not use a third-party analytics provider: usage statistics are calculated on our own servers and never leave them
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of MitsuHub, our users, or the public
• Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user data may be transferred as part of the transaction

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including:

• Encryption of data in transit using TLS/SSL protocols
• Secure password hashing (we never store passwords in plain text)
• Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
• Access controls limiting who can view personal data internally
• Secure, encrypted backups of database and user data

While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal data, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to protecting your information to the best of our ability.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you ask us to delete your account, we do not erase it immediately: it stays recoverable for 30 days, so that a change of mind, or someone deleting your account who should not have, is not permanent. Your account is deactivated straight away and you are signed out everywhere. You can still sign in during those 30 days, for the single purpose of cancelling the deletion. After that, your personal data is permanently removed and that step cannot be undone. We keep only what the law requires us to keep.

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Deletion: Request that we delete your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Portability: Request your data in a portable, machine-readable format

• Withdrawal of consent: Withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent for processing

Two of these you can do yourself, right now, without asking us: Access and Portability are the "Download my data" button in your account settings, which gives you a machine-readable copy of everything we hold. For the rest, or if the export does not cover what you need, reach us through our support page. We will respond within 30 days.

MitsuHub is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at our support page.

If we discover that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information promptly. Users between the ages of 13 and 18 must have parental or guardian consent to use MitsuHub.

MitsuHub integrates with and relies on certain third-party services to provide functionality:

• MyAnimeList API: To retrieve anime and manga metadata (titles, images, descriptions)
• YouTube: For embedded anime theme music and video content
• Cloudflare: For content delivery, DDoS protection, and R2 object storage
• Stripe: For secure payment processing (we do not store credit card information)

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they collect and use data. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you interact with through MitsuHub.

External links on MitsuHub may direct you to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes, we will:

• Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
• Post a prominent notice on the platform for significant changes
• Send email notification to registered users for major changes that affect their rights
