Background
The nine-minute animated short was released on April 22, 2025, to celebrate the World Earth Day. It was made available on Weibo, Douyin, Bilibili, Xiaohongshu, and Kuaishou in mainland China. It was later localized and published on the Japanese Pokemon YouTube channel on July 11, 2025 as part of the Pokémon Summer Stories collection.
