The story takes place in an era where humans and demons coexist. Legend has it that if humans and demons work together diligently in their cultivation, they will reach a state of purity and ascend to bliss together. However, some humans and demons, driven by greed and desire, stray onto the evil path.

Our protagonist, Xiao Li, embarks on a journey to grant a thousand wishes to become a true dragon. Upon leaving the mountain, she encounters Qiu Shui, a demon hunter determined to capture her. To escape Qiu Shui, Xiao Li evades, fights, becomes an apprentice, learns skills, and gets into trouble along the way. She makes many new friends, faces numerous crises, and gains much wisdom. Seemingly unknowingly, she also develops a subtle friendship with Qiu Shui.

Who can truly explain fate? Just as the goddess Nuwa created humans and demons, why did she place both good and evil within their souls? Perhaps all of this is a test, or perhaps it is all a guide towards purity.
