A joint venture between NHK Enterprises (the commercial arm of NHK) and advertising agency Dentsu with the intent to develop and produce shows both for NHK and for private broadcasters. However in 2004 it ceased producing programming for rival broadcasters and instead focussed on producing anime for NHK's channels. In 2013, it was dissolved and absorbed into NHK Enterprises.
