Contrail is an animation production company. It was established in September 2019 by director Katabuchi Sunao with the backing of Mappa for the sake of producing Katabuchi's future works.

Mappa's Ootsuka Manabu is the company's representative director with Katabuchi and his wife Uratani Chie serving as fellow directors.
