Background
Solo Leveling Side Story began as a web novel on KakaoPage where 27 web chapters were released from August 7, 2017 to March 13, 2018, and was published in print by D&C Media on April 18, 2018 under its Papyrus imprint. In the 2019 reissue, the series is included with volume 8 of the main series.
The series has been licensed in English by Yen Press and in German by Altraverse, where it will be included in volume 8 of their release of Solo Leveling.
