About Petronella
Petronella is a powerful sorceress who aspires to be queen, and manages to convince the king to remove prince Ludwig from succeeding the throne in favor of her own son, Julius.
[Spoiler] It is revealed that she used to be the mistress of the king of another country, but was ultimately discarded in favor of the queen. Soon after killing both of them in revenge, Petronella came across their son, Julius, in the forest; she took him in and taught him how to use magic. [/Spoiler]
