[Spoiler] In the alternate timeline, Ouryuu Kingdom shows progress when he is king. When he goes to the Asura Kingdom's crowning ceremony as an ambassador, he fell in love with Ariel at first sight and confessed to her countless of times until he turned 25 years old. After that, Kirkland became anti-Asura due to his grudge against Ariel. [/Spoiler]
