Suzuki, Iruma

Iruma Suzuki is the main protagonist of Mairimashita! Iruma-kun (Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun). A kind-hearted and extremely unlucky human boy, Iruma is sold to a demon named Sullivan by his negligent parents. Much to his surprise, Sullivan adopts him as his grandson and enrolls him in the prestigious Babyls Demon School. To survive in a world where humans are feared and eaten, Iruma must keep his identity a secret while navigating his new life in the Netherworld.

Despite his timid and conflict-averse nature, Iruma quickly proves himself through a combination of empathy, intelligence, and sheer luck. Over time, he grows in confidence, developing remarkable skills in both academics and combat. He becomes an unexpected leader within the Misfit Class and garners respect from both teachers and students.

Iruma's incredible survival instincts were forged during his childhood, having endured countless life-threatening situations caused by his eccentric and reckless parents. From a very young age, he learned how to dodge falling objects, navigate dangerous environments, and avoid trouble at all costs. These abilities, born out of necessity, became second nature and played a key role in his adaptation to demon society. His quick reflexes and unpredictability even allowed him to defeat Asmodeus Alice—one of the top students at Babyls—during their first encounter, shocking everyone and earning Alice's unwavering loyalty.
