When Amira first came to her new home, Pariya was her first friend. Pariya is of marriageable age, and her family has been seeking a receptive partner.

Pariya is an outspoken girl, a little pushy, is constantly being told she is too cheeky, and is easily riled up. Pariya's almost brash personality is something that constantly drives away suitors, so her father has a hard time finding suitors for her.

Pariya's father worked as a potter, so Pariya was molding clay even before she held a needle and thread, which is why she specializes in making bread, because it is very much like clay.
