The worst thing about Hong Baekya's best friend, Jichan, coming out as gay is that his taste in men is alarming. After an array of awful experiences, Jichan develops a crush on one guy Baekya truly cannot accept: the most popular boy in their school and Baekya's classmate, Lee Hyeon. Worried that his friend is falling for a major playboy without a romantic bone in his body, Baekya begins to observe Hyeon to try gauging the extent of his indifference for the feelings of others. However, Hyeon mistakes Baekya's attention for affection!

The opportunities to clear up the misunderstanding keep escaping him, and Baekya all but gives up. As Jichan's fickle love life snowballs, Hyeon inexplicably keeps hanging around Baekya, who suddenly notices just how kind and lovable Hyeon can be.
