Akihito Abikura has always prioritized keeping his life as undemanding as possible. As he begins his second year in high school, his plan for a leisurely school life seems to be going well, until he meets his class' new homeroom teacher, Hiyori Hiwamura. Around the school, there have been terrifying rumors of her cursing anyone who dares to offend her. One day after school, Abikura witnesses Hiwamura practicing for her future lessons. It turns out that Hiwamura is actually very clumsy, frail, and socially anxious, but she still strives to overcome her difficulties to become the ideal teacher she aspires to be. After learning the truth about her, Abikura decides to aid Hiwamura in her goal, no matter what she needs help with. The simple school life he envisioned might be far gone now, but Abikura finds himself charmed by Hiwamura as the two see each other both in and out of school.
